Romanian MOD: On the morning of Wednesday, October 14, the radar surveillance system of the Ministry of National Defense detected aerial targets maneuvering near the locality of Vâlkove, on Ukrainian territory, in close proximity to the border with Romania.The National Military Command Center notified the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations in order to establish measures to alert the population in the northern part of Tulcea County. At 6:39 a.m., an RO-Alert message was transmitted.Two F-16 aircraft of the Romanian Air Force and one IAR-330 SOCAT helicopter were scrambled from the ground.According to data provided by the radar surveillance systems, the three aerial targets did not enter national airspace.
