Ganjiahu Saxaul Forest sits at the northern foot of the Tianshan Mountains in northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It covers 54,000 hectares and holds Asia's largest white saxaul forest. Autumn is the forest's best season. Golden trees and green meadows mirror on the clear water, with snow peaks on the horizon. The wetlands are a seasonal haven for migratory birds.
