A 7,782-meters, Namcha Barwa Peak often hides among the clouds in southeastern Xizang. Known as Shy Maiden Peak, legend has it that only one in ten people get to see it in person. Even some locals have never witnessed its full splendor, making a glimpse of this snow-capped mountain feel like a stroke of good luck.
