Three flamingos were seen on Yuncheng Salt Lake in north China's Shanxi Province, craning their long necks to preen and wading on their long legs. Birdwatchers believe they're the same trio spotted two years ago. 

Once rare visitors to China, the pink birds have been coming back to Yuncheng since 2014. Conservation work has helped. The wetland is now home to some 200 bird species – and this winter, three very pink guests.
