Yin Yuzhen, a pioneer in combating desertification in China's Mu Us Desert, has been named one of 100 women agricultural heroes by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. Through decades of hard work, she has helped transform once-barren land into productive farmland, improving local livelihoods along the way.
