China Media Group (CMG) reporter Li Jiannan visited strike-hit sites in Iran's Markazi Province, where schools, sports facilities and residential areas were damaged during the US-Israel-Iran conflict.
It was the first time since the war began in February that Iranian authorities had allowed foreign media to film inside the province. The mayor of Khomeyn said 21 civilians were killed in airstrikes, 13 homes were completely destroyed and more than 1,000 others were damaged. Reconstruction and repair work is still underway.
