Global Stringer

A roof collapse at Al-Khair School in Peshawar, Pakistan, on October 15 killed at least 35 people, most of them children, and injured many others.

CGTN spoke with two grieving parents, who shared their accounts. Hussain Ahmad, father of two children killed in the collapse, described what he saw at the site. Ismail told how hope of finding his daughter alive faded amid the wreckage. Hussain pointed to structural overload, and called for prayers and solace for families left in shock and grief.
