Editor's Note: Eurozone inflation climbed to 3.8% in September, its highest level in three years. In an exclusive interview with CGTN's Zou Yun, European Central Bank (ECB) President Christine Lagarde said the rise was largely driven by energy prices, with no clear signs yet of second-round effects on wages and prices. She said the ECB would need to act if medium- to long-term inflation expectations rise further or clear signs of such effects emerge. Lagarde also confirmed she would leave her post in 2027, saying her focus remains on fulfilling her current responsibilities.
