A 96-year-old backpacker from Wuxi City, in east China's Jiangsu Province, took a 40-plus-hour train ride alone to Xizang Autonomous Region after travel agencies refused to take him because of his age. Xizang was the last on his bucket list, after he explored every other region in China. He wanted to do it with no altitude sickness. And he did.
