The Queen's Sword: From a 9-kg bronze battle-axe to 3,000 years of love

Over 3,000 years ago, during the Shang Dynasty, an extraordinary royal couple made their mark on history. The husband, Wu Ding, was a king eager to revive the dynasty, while his wife, Fu Hao, was a legendary woman endowed with courage, wisdom and strategy. As a formidable military commander and a high priestess, Fu Hao stood beside the king not only as his wife but also as his comrade-in-arms.

CGTN's first original AI micro-drama, The Queen's Sword, brings their story to life and traces their journey of growth and choices.

It takes authentic historical records as its backbone and exquisite details as its flesh, vividly interpreting the Shang Dynasty's statecraft wisdom and civilizational landscape.

Since its release, the drama's popularity has continued to climb. Within two weeks of its launch, viewership across all platforms has exceeded 50 million, receiving widespread acclaim at home and abroad and successfully delivering a premium Chinese-style micro-drama that blends historical depth with technological innovation.
