The China National Data Group, a new state-owned enterprise (SOE) directly administered by the central government, was inaugurated in Xiongan New Area, north China's Hebei Province, on Tuesday.

The newly established enterprise, headquartered in Xiongan, will focus on developing and utilizing data resources, bringing the total number of SOEs directly administered by the central government to 100.

The SOE will act as a national platform for data services, a leader in data infrastructure connectivity and a strategic force for data science and technology innovation.
