Rare marine species spotted in waters off China's Wuzhizhou Island

Divers monitoring Sanya's marine ranching zone off Wuzhizhou Island, Hainan Province, have spotted a fascinating array of marine life during a routine patrol.

Among the species logged was a rare "panda sea slug" measuring around 10 centimeters – about as long as a standard pen– making it relatively large for its species.

Finding a panda sea slug that size in Hainan's coastal coral reef waters is rare.
