Located along the Huangpu River, the Shanghai Grand Opera House officially opened to the public on October 17, featuring a distinctive fan-shaped rooftop and a 409-step double-helix staircase. On the same day, the 25th China Shanghai International Arts Festival and the Shanghai Grand Opera House Inaugural Summit Dialogue brought together delegates from major opera houses around the world to discuss arts venue management, the preservation of opera traditions and international collaboration. Delegates also shared their impressions of the new venue and their hopes for future cooperation.
