‪China is marking 90 years since the victory of the Long March, a historic military trek crucial to the founding of the People's Republic of China. In 2022, Chinese President Xi Jinping led members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee to Yan'an, a place often regarded as cradle of New China. During the visit, they toured revolutionary sites and called for the Yan'an Spirit to be carried forward into the new era. Four years later, our reporter returned to Yan'an's Ansai District to see how a local official, inspired by President Xi's words, is putting that spirit into practice.‬

(Zhang Zhilin, Zhou Zihan, and Zhou Junze from Ansai TV also contributed to the filming.
