The 2026 APEC CEO Summit will be held in Shenzhen, south China, from November 17 to 18 under the theme "Building Prosperity Together for a Shared Future." Ahead of the summit, CGTN speaks with people from various APEC member economies to hear their perspectives on regional cooperation and the stories behind China's growing connections with the Asia-Pacific.

The Australians shared their views on the topics of this APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting and China-Australia relations. One respondent believes the meeting should focus on technology, artificial intelligence (AI), economic recovery and energy cooperation. Others suggest that China's advances in AI can benefit other countries and that Australia has significant potential to cooperate with China in technology, education and cultural exchanges.
