In Xiongan, Baiyangdian is watched on four levels: satellites from space, drones in the air, monitoring trucks on the ground, and 12 automatic stations on the water, some placed right where rivers flow in. Robot boats sample as they move, the monitoring boat carries its own lab, and an AI lab on shore can test 100 samples a day for a single indicator, with results the next day. All of it reports to one screen. The result: Class III since 2021.
