Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs: 'On the sidelines of the state visit to the State of Qatar by His Excellency President Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, during 20-21 October of this year, Their Excellencies Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic, co-chaired the Fourth Qatari-French Strategic Dialogue in Doha, Qatar, on 21 October 2026, reaffirming the depth and strength of the historical relations between the two countries...... The two Ministers welcomed the positive progress achieved through ongoing high-level cooperation, including in regional security, defense and military cooperation, security cooperation and counter-terrorism, trade and investment, innovation, education and higher education, culture and the arts, and humanitarian aid and development.'
