The 2026 APEC CEO Summit will be held in Shenzhen, south China's Guangdong Province, from November 17 to 18 under the theme "Building Prosperity Together for a Shared Future." Ahead of the summit, CGTN speaks with people from various APEC member economies to hear their perspectives on regional cooperation and the stories behind China's growing connections with the Asia-Pacific.

In New York City, "Made in China" is woven into everyday life – from cameras and drones to clothing and furniture. Residents pointed to China's manufacturing capacity and fast shipping, while noting that many of the apps they use originate in China. On China-US relations, they said the two major powers should maintain friendly ties and strengthen cooperation in areas such as trade and the environment. Such cooperation, they argued, would benefit not only both countries but the wider world as well.
