After a magnitude-7.0 earthquake struck Baqen County in Nagqu City, southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region, an Air Force unit under the Chinese People's Liberation Army Western Theater Command activated its emergency response plan.

Drones were dispatched to the quake-hit area late at night to assess damage, which provided vital support for subsequent rescue and relief operations. Aerial reconnaissance is continuing, with drones monitoring conditions in the affected area.
