Elias Wondimu, an Ethiopia-born journalist and publisher and founding director and CEO of TSEHAI Publishers in the United States, said on Friday that dialogue among civilizations and people-to-people exchanges across countries and continents are essential to building a shared future.
Speaking to CGTN at the 2026 Global Governance Forum (Xiongan), he said bringing people from different walks of life together can help identify common ground and address global challenges.
Wondimu warned that rising international tensions and confrontational politics risk pushing the world in a dangerous direction. He stressed the need for countries and people to engage in meaningful dialogue, find common solutions and work toward a future that can be shared by all, particularly for the sake of future generations.
