Golden Avenue in Fukang, Xinjiang, is now at its autumn scenic peak, with golden leaves lining the S111 highway through the Sangong River Valley toward Tianshan Tianchi. Against the snow-capped Bogda Peak, birch and ginkgo trees glow in amber and gold, and sunlight turns the drive into a shimmering golden tunnel that draws visitors and photographers. The best viewing period runs through late October, when autumn colors may soon meet early snow for an even more stunning scene.
