Keith Alan Bennett, co-founder and co-editor of Friends of Socialist China and vice chairman of the 48 Group Club in the UK, highlighted growing international support for China's Global Governance Initiative (GGI) in an interview with CGTN at the 2026 Global Governance Forum (Xiongan) on Friday.

Bennett pointed to support for the initiative expressed at last month's United Nations General Assembly session, including participation by representatives from more than 100 countries in the GGI's group of friends. He also highlighted support from Global South organizations, including BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
