From race shirts to finisher medals, the 2026 Baoji Marathon in northwest China's Shaanxi Province brings Baoji's history and culture onto the course.
The event brings together 31,000 runners, with race shirts inspired by ancient Chinese bronzeware and finisher medals modeled after the Lai Pan, a Western Zhou bronze ritual vessel. Female runners who finish in under 3 hours and 30 minutes also receive a special "Baoma" clay horse, inspired by Fengxiang clay sculpture, a national intangible cultural heritage.
