A ceremony facilitating the entry of China's Taiwan region fishery products into the Chinese mainland has been held in Xiamen, Fujian Province in east China. It marks progress in fisheries cooperation under the ten policies and measures introduced by the Chinese mainland in April to promote cross-Strait trade, travel and cultural exchanges. Figures just released show that fishery product imports from Taiwan rose 35.5% year-on-year in the first three quarters of this year.
