A Long March-4B rocket lifted off from Jiuquan at 3:25 a.m. Beijing time on Saturday, carrying six satellites from the Yaogan-53 and Yaogan-56 groups into their planned orbits.

The payload will support scientific experiments, land surveys, crop yield estimation, and disaster prevention and mitigation.

It was the 673rd flight mission for the Long March rocket series.
