The Organizing Committee launched a "Leave No Trace" initiative and assembled a 50-member green running team to put it into action. Equipped with trash bags and litter pickers, the runners picked up any remaining waste on the course as they raced, putting the initiative into practice and leaving behind cheers, not litter.
