"The Landscape Sings in Seasons," a popular concert of classic folk songs from across the Taiwan Strait, was aired during primetime on China Central Television's movie channel CCTV-6 on October 25.

Jointly held by CCTV-6, China Arts and Entertainment Group and Phoenix TV, the concert invited more than 300 musicians and members of choirs and symphony orchestras from across the Taiwan Strait.

Artists from different generations performed on the same stage, singing about China's beautiful landscapes and the changing seasons, paying tribute to the spirit of the "Sing Chinese Songs" folk music movement in Taiwan 50 years ago.

The concert won great popularity among the audiences and boosted cross-Straits exchanges by enhancing the common memories and emotional resonance among people from both sides of the Taiwan Strait.
