Editor's Note: How can China-Kenya cooperation create new opportunities for development? And what can the two countries learn from each other in a changing global landscape? In this episode of Leaders Talk, CMG's He Yanke speaks with Moses Wetang'ula, Speaker of Kenya's National Assembly, during his recent visit to China. Wetang'ula discusses how Chinese-backed infrastructure projects have strengthened regional connectivity and explores opportunities for cooperation in trade, technology and talent development. He also shares his impressions of Tianjin Port's automated terminal, explains how China's zero-tariff policy could benefit Kenya, and reflects on the role of young people in shaping the country's future. The conversation also examines the foundations of China-Kenya relations and the role of China's four global initiatives in addressing shared challenges.
