Tackling global challenges requires dialogue, shared rules for emerging fields and a fairer system that amplifies voices of the Global South, said officials and experts at the 2026 Global Governance Forum, which was held in Xiongan New Area, north China's Hebei Province, from October 23-25.
Hosted by the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs, the forum was themed "Rebuilding Confidence and Cooperation: Reforming and Improving Global Governance in a Transforming World." It featured discussions centered on multilateral cooperation, artificial intelligence and sustainable development.
