China has expressed deep concern over the prolonged fighting and its spillover effects across the Middle East and the Horn of Africa. It has urged all relevant parties to resolve their differences through dialogue and negotiation and reach a sustainable ceasefire as soon as possible. 

The remarks follow reports of intense fighting in Yemen and the Red Sea, as well as claims that the United States and Israel may resume military operations against Iran. 

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Tuesday that China will soon send its special envoy to visit countries in the affected regions to strengthen communication and push for de-escalation.
