A hobbyist and fan of the mythical Monkey King in east China's Shandong Province has created a giant, intricate sculpture of the Monkey King, also named Wukong, made from dried tree branches. True talent really lives among the ordinary people.

According to the creator's social media, the eco-sculpture is meant to symbolize his resilience – falling and getting back up. It reflects the idea that while no one is perfect, everyone is in the process of shaping their own journey.

Sun Wukong, one of the most celebrated characters in Chinese literature from the classic novel Journey to the West, is known as "Qitian Dasheng" (The Great Sage Equal to Heaven) – a symbol of freedom, courage, strength, and rebellious spirit.
