In Yongshun County, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Central China's Hunan Province, Furong Town has a history stretching back more than 2,000 years. Once known as Wangcun, it was renamed after the film Hibiscus Town was shot here.
Known as "the thousand‑year‑old ancient town hanging on a waterfall," the settlement is bisected by a roaring waterfall and famed for its clusters of Tujia stilted houses and living ethnic traditions.
The town enjoys a mild climate with four distinct seasons, plenty of sun and steady rain. Average temperatures sit between 12℃ and 16℃, making it a year‑round destination.
Join us live as we walk the old streets and see the waterfall up close.
