China has received the return of two Chinese cultural relics from Australia: the head of a civil official statue from Yongchang Mausoleum and the head of a military official statue from Yongyu Mausoleum, both dating to the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127).
Located in Gongyi, Henan Province, the two imperial mausoleums are part of China's largest and relatively well-preserved group of Northern Song imperial tomb sculptures, known for their exquisite craftsmanship and diverse forms.
