China takes seriously French football star Kylian Mbappe's apology for his earlier inappropriate remarks about China, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Wednesday.

“We take the apology made by the individual concerned seriously,” Guo said at a regular press conference on Wednesday.
