Families in earthquake-hit areas are beginning to settle into temporary housing. Namkha, a villager from the Second Village of Maru Township in Xizang Autonomous Region, said his family moved into a tent the day after the quake and stayed there for two days before moving into a house on Monday. He said life is more convenient in the house, which has electricity and a stove, allowing the family to heat water.
