A person was killed outside the Israeli embassy in Belgrade early on Wednesday after targeting a police officer in a "terrorist attack," Serbia's outgoing Interior Minister Ivica Dacic said.

"A minor whose identity has yet to be established ... attacked a member of the police with two knives while shouting 'Allahu Akbar'," Dacic said. He added that the terrorism threat had been raised to its highest level.
