The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), China's leading trade promotion body, says stable and balanced economic and trade relations between China and the EU serve the shared interests of businesses on both sides. It says mutually beneficial cooperation remains a shared consensus and common goal.
At its monthly press briefing, CCPIT spokesperson Wang Wenshuai highlighted ongoing business exchanges between China and Europe. Since the start of this year, the CCPIT has hosted 20 delegations of European institutional and business representatives visiting China. It has also approved around 7,300 Chinese companies to take part in major trade fairs across Europe.
The CCPIT says these exchanges demonstrate the close ties between Chinese and European business communities and their shared interest in maintaining stable and balanced economic and trade relations.
