China Coast Guard vessels have conducted maritime law enforcement drills near China's Ren'ai Jiao and Xianbin Jiao, focusing on responses to foreign vessels illegally entering the waters.

The exercises simulated an illegal fishing incident, with officers carrying out boarding inspections and confiscating fishing gear and catches after identifying prohibited fishing activities. The drills also tested vessel coordination, water cannon operations and the use of drones.
