Conservation efforts help wildlife thrive in northwest China's Qilian Mountains

Infrared cameras in Dahekou in northwest China's Gansu Province have captured frequent sightings of snow leopards, blue sheep and Thorold's deer. Regular monitoring has helped conservationists track wildlife populations and changes in their habitats. More than 1,000 blue sheep and 200 Thorold's deer have been recorded in the area.
