Ahead of the Global Mayors Dialogue, a group of local government representatives from Morocco and Lebanon were taken on a tour of the host city, Ningbo. On Monday morning, they visited the Yuyao Urban Exhibition Hall and Yangming Ancient Town, and in the afternoon, the Ningbo Sino-Italy Industrial Park. Commenting after the tour, Said Karimi, mayor of Errachidia in Morocco, said, "We hope to learn from China's advances in technology." And Hiba Hassan Zeaiter, acting qaim maqam of Hermel in Lebanon, praised the Global Mayors Dialogue, describing it as "a historic opportunity."
