Shanghai Disney Resort announced that its third Disney-themed hotel, Shanghai Disney Enchanted Star Hotel, will officially open in December, during the winter travel season. Reservations are set to begin at midnight on November 6 through the resort's reservation center, official channels and authorized travel partners.

Located next to Shanghai Disneyland Hotel, the 400-room hotel overlooks Shanghai Disneyland and Wishing Star Lake. The new property will expand the resort's accommodation and leisure offerings, providing visitors with another option for multi-day stays.

Named after the Wishing Star, a symbol associated with Disney dreams and possibilities, the hotel incorporates the theme into its architecture, interior design and guest experiences. The nine-story building draws inspiration from the architectural style of early 20th-century Shanghai and features Art Nouveau elements.

Following the concept of "Authentically Disney, Distinctly Chinese," the hotel combines Disney storytelling with local cultural influences across its design, operations, dining, merchandise and entertainment offerings. Its guest rooms feature artwork inspired by wishes and wishing stars, along with Disney-themed details and contemporary amenities.

A range of room categories will be available to accommodate different guest needs. Reservations for selected room types will open on November 6, with additional room categories becoming available closer to the hotel's opening. The hotel will also offer a range of leisure facilities for families and visitors of different ages, including an indoor swimming pool and themed play areas inspired by Disney characters and stories. An outdoor swimming pool, the first in Shanghai Disney Resort's hotel portfolio, will operate during selected seasons, subject to weather and operational conditions.

Dining and entertainment will also be part of the guest experience. Enchanted Seasons Restaurant, one of several dining venues at the hotel, will draw inspiration from the changing seasons and serve Chinese and international cuisine. Guests will also be able to enjoy special entertainment, meet Disney characters and explore themed merchandise.

The hotel's location on the shores of Wishing Star Lake will provide views of both Wishing Star Park and Shanghai Disneyland. A dedicated connector linking the new hotel with Shanghai Disneyland Hotel will allow guests staying at either property to access shared recreational facilities, including fitness centers, swimming pools and indoor and outdoor themed play areas, as well as dining and shopping venues.

Three newly unveiled crane sculptures near the hotel will add to the lakeside landscape, offering visitors an opportunity to explore the natural surroundings and learn about Shanghai Disney Resort's conservation efforts.
