The ninth China International Import Expo (CIIE) will be held in Shanghai from November 5 to 10, bringing together exhibitors from around the world.

Since its debut in 2018, the CIIE has become a showcase of China's new development paradigm, a platform for high-standard opening up, and a public good for the whole world.

"China will firmly advance high-standard opening up and continue to make economic globalization more open, inclusive, balanced and beneficial to all," Chinese President Xi Jinping said. Xi has on many occasions emphasized that China remains committed to the fundamental national policy of opening up to the outside world, and adheres to the right course of economic globalization.
