UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, has led a high-level government and business delegation across South China's Guangdong Province, marking a historic milestone in UAE-China bilateral relations.

In his speech at the inauguration of RAK International (Guangzhou) LLC in Guangzhou, the RAK ruler noted that the Emirate's relationship with China is built on deep historical trade ties and modern partnerships based on mutual trust, shared ambition, and tangible results. He also said the opening of the first business consultancy in the Chinese city marks a new chapter in the emirate's long-term partnership with China.

The new business consultancy serves as a direct and permanent presence in the market. The platform will strengthen business-to-business engagement, facilitate closer collaboration with Chinese partners, support investment and trade promotion, coordinate high-level visits and projects and serve as a dedicated gateway connecting China with Ras Al Khaimah.

Prior to official meetings in Guangzhou, HH Sheikh Saud and the delegation visited Shenzhen for the RAK-China Business Summit, themed "Together Towards Shared Value". It brought together senior Chinese executives, technology innovators and trade leaders to explore joint expansion across green energy, advanced manufacturing, digital innovation and luxury tourism.

The summit served as an active sandbox for matching South China's world-class technology capabilities with Ras Al Khaimah's rapid economic expansion. High-level panel discussions featured leadership from across Ras Al Khaimah's core economic pillars, exploring concrete synergies in technology, AI and future-oriented sectors.

The discussions focused on introducing advanced AI and humanoid robotics solutions into Ras Al Khaimah's expanding smart city operations, enterprise automation and industrial ecosystems, positioning the Emirate as an ideal testing ground for next-generation Chinese tech.
