Filming of a TV drama focused on a group of medical professionals working in an intensive care unit (ICU) has begun in Ningbo, east China's Zhejiang Province.
The ICU is an ultimate battlefield of modern medicine that brings hope. The new TV series points its lens at nursing professionals, portraying this high-pressure, meticulous, day-after-day profession, allowing audiences to see the hardships of intensive care nursing work.
Starring Liu Tao and Hu Ge, the series explores generational inheritance in medicine through two generations of nurses: the older generation reveres rules, while the passionate new generation dares to break new ground.

Marking the start of filming, a concept poster titled "Toward the light, toward life" was also released, capturing medical staff of different roles running side by side down an ICU corridor – some pushing equipment, while others clutching stethoscopes, all ready to race against time.
By choosing this special medical profession as its core narrative focus, the drama aims to fill a content gap in domestic productions that center on the many facets of ICU nursing.
