Azerbaijan is back at the China International Import Expo (CIIE) for the ninth consecutive year, with two booths that showcase its culture, investment potential and products from 12 companies.
In an exclusive interview with CGTN's Zhang Meng, Teymur Nadiroglu, minister-counsellor at the Embassy of Azerbaijan in China, said the Chinese market is a strategic priority, not just a quick sale.
"We look at the Chinese market long term. It requires long-term strategy and deep understanding of what Chinese consumers really want," he said. While some Azerbaijani products already have a customer base in China, Nadiroglu added, others are just starting to enter the market.
