China's second homegrown large cruise ship, Adora Flora City, was officially delivered in Shanghai on Friday, marking a key leap for China's large cruise ship program from a single-ship breakthrough to serial construction.

Beyond improving construction capabilities, Adora Flora City also aims to establish standardized practices for large cruise ship construction.

The goal is to turn the experience gained from building more than 25 million components and over 1,000 onboard systems into a stable, controllable production system.

This puts China's high-end manufacturing, complex engineering integration and industrial supply chain coordination capabilities to the ultimate test.
