An Angolan military attaché was deeply moved after learning about the stories of female Red Army soldiers at the Women Red Army Soldiers Memorial Hall.
Rosaberth Katchitava, Deputy Attaché at the Embassy of Angola in China, said she was particularly touched by the story of Wang Quanying, one of China's last surviving female Red Army veterans, who passed away in July.
Reflecting on the sacrifices made by women who fought in the Chinese revolution, she said visiting the memorial reminded her of the remarkable journey toward a revitalized China.
