At the 2026 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit's forum on the Development of Internet Public Welfare, CGTN spoke with Chinese actor Yue Man-lok. For years, he has sponsored children in rural China and has fond memories of watching them grow up. Speaking at the forum, he described how the internet has transformed charitable giving: Supporting a cause no longer requires being there in person. Wherever you are, you can contribute with just a click, making it easier for more people to get involved. "It's about how much you want to help," he said.
