The International Symposium on "Exchanges and Mutual Learning among Civilizations and the Chinese Path to Modernization" was held in Nanchang, capital of east China’s Jiangxi Province, on November 7.
More than 100 participants, including foreign political party leaders, Marxist researchers, social activists and renowned Chinese scholars, gathered to share insights on Chinese modernization and its global significance.
Discussions covered a range of topics, including China's poverty alleviation achievements and their global implications, the key objectives of China's 15th Five-Year Plan and the theoretical and cultural dimensions of modernization. Participants also explored how dialogue among civilizations can deepen cross-cultural understanding and help build a more inclusive world that embraces diversity.
The symposium provided a platform for academic exchange and mutual learning, bringing together diverse perspectives on China’s development path and the importance of cooperation among civilizations in addressing shared global challenges.
