According to the organizer, this year's festival has received nearly 4000 entries from 112 countries and regions across the globe.

SUN WEI SHANGHAI "Apart from the regular sections observed in previous editions, such as film exhibitions, forums, master classes, Asian New Talents Awards, Film Week of Belt and Road as well as venture capital for film projects, the festival has also set up a theme unit for the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China. 14 domestic films are selected to show the glorious course of the 70 years and reflect Shanghai's urban development. Of course, there's a lot more to expect during the 10-day film carnival. SW, CGTN, Shanghai."
